Job Summary
Plan, develop, organize, and direct nursing services for assigned floor residents. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while reviewing staff complaints and grievances. Maintain adequate stock of medications, supplies, and equipment to meet resident needs, and assist in developing comprehensive nursing assessments. Make nursing and aide assignments as indicated and encourage staff participation in external training programs. Shift runs 3p-11p.
Required Qualifications
- A nursing degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience providing direct care in long-term care, restorative or geriatric settings
- Minimum one (1) year of experience as a nursing supervisor, preferably in a nursing home setting
- Current CPR Certification
- State requirements for relevant licensures or certifications
- No disciplinary action in effect against professional license
