Job Summary
Assess and monitor residents' needs, administer medications, and perform related tasks under physician supervision. Record medical history, symptoms, and vitals while updating resident charts and electronic medical records. Ensure treatment aligns with facility procedures and federal, state, and local nursing regulations. Collaborate with nurses, doctors, and administrators to deliver evidenced-based clinical care. Maintain current CPR certification and demonstrate strong communication and leadership skills. Full-time day shift (6a–6:30p) with every other weekend rotation or weekend warrior schedule.
Required Qualifications
- AS or BS degree in nursing
- Currently registered/licensed in Maine
- CPR certification upon hire or obtained during orientation
- Knowledge and use of Electronic Medical Records and/or solid computer skills
- Strong communication skills, both in writing and verbally
- Effective leadership skills and/or ability to invest in growing this skill
- Read, write, speak, and understand the English language
