Registered Nurse (RN) - (Step Down/Neuro/Med-Surg)

Coordinate the Patient Care Team's delivery of personalized, efficient care while providing patient assessments, initiating individualized plans of care, and collaborating with physicians on interdisciplinary teams. Adhere to medication administration protocols, report patient status changes, and implement interventions to promote patient safety and minimize adverse outcomes. Maintain accountability for staffing, participate in six annual staff meetings, and demonstrate proficiency in Care Manager/AS 400 systems and Lean Six Sigma process improvement. This role involves working on a 22-bed Neurology-Neurosurgery Unit at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center with variable 12-hour shifts rotating every other weekend and major holidays.
