Job Summary
Conduct patient assessments, triage, and care planning for individuals recovering from TAVR, post-operative surgeries, acute stable STEMI/NSTEMI, ventilator management, and stroke or traumatic injuries. Collaborate with physicians to implement and evaluate care plans while managing patients with secured airways, low-dose vasopressors, and detoxification needs. Provide individualized nursing interventions covering preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up across the continuum. Work within the full scope of nursing practice as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and state licensure standards.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
