Job Summary
Full-time Registered Nurse needed for orthopedic clinic in Tupelo, MS, with additional travel to Oxford for training. Responsibilities include providing basic medical care to patients, maintaining professional nursing standards, dispensing medications as ordered by physicians, accurate reporting and documentation of patient progress, interviewing patients and recording medical history, organizing and scheduling appointments, charting and distributing correspondence, and performing other duties as assigned. Requires current Mississippi nursing license and ability to work under provider supervision; experience in orthopedics is a plus. Strong computer, scheduling, and phone etiquette skills are expected. Locations include Tupelo and Starkville, MS; travel to Oxford for training.
Required Qualifications
- Current license in the state of Mississippi
- 1-2 years of clinic experience preferred
- Experience in orthopedics is a plus
- Cooperative work attitude toward co-employees, management, patients, visitors, and physicians
- Ability to promote favorable clinic image with physicians, patients, insurance companies, and general public
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
