Job Summary
Coordinate comprehensive nursing care for patients of all ages, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations, utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Provide direct and indirect patient care while developing individualized plans of care and documenting vital signs, medication histories, and chief complaints in computerized charts. Assist physicians with procedures, prepare sterile fields, administer medications, and manage equipment sterilization across specialty clinics. Perform telephone triage, schedule appointments, obtain insurance pre-authorizations, and coordinate supplies for satellite locations. Maintain clinical competency through continuing education and annual evaluations while adhering to infection control, disaster procedures, and risk management policies. Work full-time, 80 hours per two-week pay period, Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 4:30pm.
Required Qualifications
- Professional level of knowledge acquired by completing an accredited RN nursing education program
- Unencumbered RN licensure from the ND State Board of Nursing for the current year
- Completion of BLS CPR
- Completion of Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NCI) training
- Previous work experience in a clinic
- Punctual and regular attendance
- Ability to gather and interpret data in clinical observations
- Ability to determine priorities within area of assignment
- Ability to access, manipulate, organize and relay information using email, word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software, and database management
- Independent nursing judgment based on established policies and procedures
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of six months experience in a related position in a health facility or clinic
