Job Summary
Manage all aspects of the nursing process and deliver patient- and family-centered care within the Special Care Nursery. Request and utilize administrative resources, technological systems, and multidisciplinary clinical experts to ensure quality, cost-effective patient care appropriate for the age of assigned patients. Operate under the authority to access governing resources necessary to support the delivery of exceptional care. This role requires a valid Massachusetts RN license, BLS certification, and preferably a Bachelor's degree with two years of NICU or Special Care Nursery experience. The position is onsite at North Shore Medical Center, Mass General Brigham, with rotating shifts and a weekly schedule of 36 hours.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years' experience in a Nicu, Pediatric ICU or Special Care Nursery
- Valid/Current license to practice as a RN in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- BLS required
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree is preferred
- ACLS preferred
