Job Summary
Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care through outcome identification and evidence-based practice. Administer, monitor, and document therapeutic interventions while effectively managing rapidly changing situations. Collaborate extensively with the healthcare team, patients, and families to coordinate care, delegate tasks, and participate in clinical decision-making. Educate patients and responsible parties regarding disease processes, wellness, and safety issues. Maintain high standards of professional ethics and demonstrate standard precautions and patient safety principles. Participate in performance improvement activities and orientation efforts to maintain departmental competencies. Requires valid NJ RN license and minimum one year direct SPA/PAT experience.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year direct experience in SPA/PAT
- Must have valid NJ RN License
- Approved licenses must be presented and maintained in accordance with the State of New Jersey Licensing Board
- Demonstrates knowledge of nursing skills, hospital practices, procedures and standards
- Must have strong communication skills
- Must be able to coordinate efforts of a team of care providers
