Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medication administration, wound care, and skilled nursing procedures. Assist with activities of daily living and supervise nursing assistants during assigned shifts. Monitor resident status, develop individualized care plans, and coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges. Complete accurate clinical documentation and participate in quality assurance activities and staff education. This 112-bed facility offers short-term rehabilitative and long-term care services. A $5,000 sign-on bonus and increased wages are available for new full-time hires.
Required Qualifications
- Current, active RN license in the state of practice
- Minimum one (1) year of clinical nursing experience
- Strong clinical observation, medication administration, and documentation skills
- Knowledge of Federal and State long-term care regulations
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and exercise sound clinical judgment
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Desired Qualifications
- CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
- Long-term care experience
- Experience in a supervisory or charge nurse role
