Job Summary
Responsible for providing direct nursing care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit, focusing on acutely ill medical and/or surgical inpatients. The role involves performance improvement initiatives, utilization of the nursing process in care provision, and adherence to essential certifications and clearances. Required qualifications include a Graduate of a Registered Nurse Program and a current PA RN license, with preferred qualifications such as a Bachelor Degree in Nursing and prior critical care experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a Registered Nurse Program
- Current PA RN license
- Healthcare Provider CPR certification
- ACLS within one year of hire/transfer
- Act 33/73 clearances
- Clinical rotation through educational program
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Nursing
- CCRN
- Prior med-surg experience
- Arrhythmia interpretation
- Critical Care experience
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
