Job Summary
Provide direct patient care, make care assignments to staff, and supervise CNAs in long-term care facilities. Interpret and enforce facility policies while administering medications and treatments per approved techniques. Communicate patient condition changes, safety issues, and equipment problems to supervisors and physicians in a timely manner. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient and family care plans. Document significant conditions and reactions, notifying families and medical staff of any health behavior or medication changes. Work any shift as needed with flexibility for scheduling requirements. Current state RN license, CPR certification, and updated physical and TB results required. Minimum one year experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with current state license
- Current CPR certification
- Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills in the nursing process necessary for those patients requiring the expertise of a professional registered nurse
- Must be able to work any shift as needed and be flexible with scheduling requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of (1) one year experience preferred
