Job Summary
Provide peri-operative nursing care to assigned patients utilizing the nursing process while adhering to professional standards, hospital policies, and procedures. Perform duties including basic EKG skills and maintain critical care/ER experience standards. Maintain current California RN license, BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Work full-time days with varying start times across PIH Health Downey, Good Samaritan, and Whittier hospitals, supporting outpatient medical offices, physician groups, and emergency services within the Los Angeles County, Orange County, and San Gabriel Valley region.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrates good English communication skills
- Knowledge of nursing process
- Basic organization skills
- Demonstrates ability to work with others
- Basic EKG skills
- Current California RN license
- Current BCLS card, ACLS and PALS
- Critical care/ER experience
