Registered Nurse (RN) | Rock Rapids Clinic

Provide professional nursing care to patients and families at Avera Rock Rapids Clinic. Administer prescribed medications and treatments per nursing standards; coordinate patient care activities with physicians and the health-care team; assist providers during procedures, exams, and testing; monitor and document patient condition and responses to therapies; manage scheduling and ensure efficient patient flow, including triage in emergencies; greet and prepare patients for examinations; obtain health histories, take vitals, conduct nursing assessments, and document information in patient charts; educate patients and families about diagnostic processes, medications, nutrition, and wellness; maintain exam rooms and prepare required supplies; label pathology specimens per lab protocol and participate in quality control and records.
