Job Summary
Provide skilled nursing services to patients under the direction of a physician, nurse practitioner, or physician assistant; collect health data, develop and implement a plan of care, and collaborate with the healthcare team. Duties include communicating the plan of care, coordinating tests and treatments, assisting with examinations, maintaining patient safety and confidentiality, observing patient changes, supporting quality improvement initiatives, and performing related duties as required. The role requires nursing licensure in North Carolina, BLS/CPR, and specialty-area ACLS/PALS as determined by accrediting bodies, with EMR experience preferred and a typical 40-hour day shift.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of North Carolina
- BLS/CPR certification required
- ACLS/PALS is required in specialty areas as determined by accrediting bodies (Cardiology, Infusion, Rheumatology Infusion, CT & GI Endo)
- EMR system experience preferred
- Two years of clinical/ambulatory nursing experience preferred
- Day Shift, Monday - Friday
- 40 hours per week
