Job Summary
Registered Nurse in a full-time night-shift position (36 hours/week, 7pm-7:30am) at Samaritan Healthcare. Responsible for assessing patients, implementing nursing care plans, providing patient teaching, documenting in EMR, and supervising/coordinating care as assigned. May function as Charge Nurse and participate in unit leadership. Requires WA RN licensure and graduation from an accredited nursing program. BLS within 30 days of hire; acute care RN experience preferred with opportunities for cross-training across units. Cross-training incentives available; trauma Level III designation noted. Strong emphasis on patient safety, policy adherence, and collaboration with physicians, staff, and families.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Current Washington State RN Licensure
- Experience as an acute care registered nurse preferred
- Minimum one year of RN experience preferred for specialty nursing departments
- HCP (Healthcare Provider) Level of BLS within 30 days of hire – AHA or equivalent
