Registered Nurse (RN)

Direct and supervise patient care in the ASC setting, monitor pre-op and post-op patients, and assist the MD with direct patient care in the clinical, recovery, and OR environments. Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs and cardiac/respiratory status with manual and non-invasive equipment, IV starts, port-a-Cath insertion, sterile technique, patient documentation, coordination with Mays & Schnapp policies, emergency response (crash cart, defibrillator, CPR), and maintaining OSHA standards. Must maintain an active RN license in good standing, participate in QI activities, and demonstrate effective communication with the healthcare team; prior critical care experience is preferred but not required. Orientation completed with demonstrated skills in OR and Recovery Room; CPR certification required.
