Job Summary
Provide hands-on patient care as an RN at an Occupational Medicine Facility serving active duty personnel. Responsibilities include conducting nursing assessments, administering medications and treatments, using specialized equipment (e.g., cardiac monitoring devices, EKG), assisting with diagnostic procedures, telehealth nursing, patient and family education, coordinating referrals, documenting procedures, and ensuring stock and supplies. Must communicate effectively with a diverse healthcare team, orient new staff, and adhere to established policies. Requires ASN/BSN/MSN with current RN licensure, BLS certification, and two years of relevant RN experience; DoD facility experience preferred. Hours are 0700-1600, Monday–Friday at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City, OK.
Required Qualifications
- ASN, BSN, or MSN from an accredited nursing program
- Current, full, active and unrestricted RN license
- Two years of RN experience in a primary care setting within the past 5 years
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC
- U.S. citizenship for contract work
