Job Summary
Nurse Residency Program in Orthopedic Surgery. Works under direct/indirect supervision of the Clinical Education Team to complete clinical competencies and validation requirements, participates in professional development, and manages nursing care under supervision. Responsibilities include conducting nursing assessments, developing and revising care plans with patient/family involvement, administering treatments and medications per standards, documenting care, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, participating in quality improvement processes, ensuring adherence to licensure and hospital policies, and providing discharge teaching. Minimum education is an ADN or nursing program completion; BSN preferred. Licensure as an RN with a multistate license or eligibility to obtain one is required.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
