Job Summary
Collect patient data, complete required forms, and perform nursing assessments using critical thinking skills under direct supervision of a licensed RN. Develop care plans incorporating multidisciplinary input, provide treatments and discharge teaching, and identify emergency situations to independently initiate advanced therapy. Record all care delivered, observe impending problems, and implement nursing measures for associated issues while fulfilling unit calls and adjusting staffing based on census and acuity. Manage ethical issues in patient care and participate in quality improvement processes.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Nursing
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing program approved by the State Board of Nursing
- Current RN compact/multistate license recognized by the NCSBN Compact State
- Licensed to practice as an RN in the state the team member is working
- NCLEX testing date provided prior to hire
- Passing score on NCLEX
- Licensure with State Board of Nursing
- Less than one year of experience
- No previous experience is required
- Candidates with greater than 12 months of experience are not eligible
- After Jan 1, 2019, ADN or BSN degree from an accredited institution/program recognized by the U.S. Dept. of Education or the State Board of Nursing
