Registered Nurse (RN) - Renal/Vascular Surgical

Job Summary
Perform the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation for patients in the renal and vascular surgical units. Coordinate interdisciplinary rounds, case reviews, and bedside teaching to ensure safe, individualized care while documenting outcomes and promoting patient-centered goals. Partner with families and staff to uphold Wellstar's shared governance model, evidence-based practice standards, and TJC safety goals. Mentor preceptors and staff, participate in performance improvement initiatives, and develop protocols to reduce re-admissions and adverse events. Requires 5+ years of direct patient care experience, RN licensure, BLS certification, and strong critical thinking skills. Full-time day shift (7am-7pm).
Required Qualifications
- Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred
- RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- Minimum 5 years RN experience Required
- Ability to read, write and speak English language
