Job Summary
Assess patient status, administer IV medications, and collect vital signs for patients with medical and surgical diagnoses. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop, update, and revise patient care plans that enhance outcomes. Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment while implementing clinical nursing interventions consistent with state practice and Mercy Health policies. Requires current state RN licensure, BLS certification, and one year of acute care experience. Scheduled for 36 weekly night shifts at Lourdes Hospital's 3rd Floor Med-Surg unit.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in nursing
- One year of RN experience
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- BLS Basic Life Support
- ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support
Desired Qualifications
- Six months RN experience in an acute care hospital setting
