Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) Rehab Nurse for 12-Hour Night Shift in Winter Park, FL. Responsibilities include accurate health assessments and identification of residents' needs; developing and updating dynamic care plans through an interdisciplinary team; administering medications and IV therapies safely; documenting interventions and care plans; communicating changes to physicians, residents, families, and IDT members; ensuring timely reporting using SBARR; monitoring care plan delivery, addressing issues with QAPI processes, and supporting residents’ daily needs (ADLs). Requires RN education from an accredited program, active RN license in Florida, CPR/AED certification (or willing to obtain within six months), and strong critical thinking, communication, and documentation skills. Long-term care experience preferred. Benefits include health coverage, 403b, daily pay, bonuses, and holiday pay.
Required Qualifications
- Education from an accredited school of nursing resulting in becoming a registered nurse (RN)
- Current RN license in the state of employment
- CPR/AED certification required, or willing to obtain within six months of employment
- Long-term care experience preferred
- Critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods
- Ability to lift and move patients and equipment
- Documentation skills (electronic and written)
