Job Summary
Provide in-home nursing care to clients, performing initial and ongoing assessments, monitoring vital signs, and medication administration during one-on-one visits. Educate patients and their families on home health care strategies, recommend devices or tools to improve quality of life, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and the health-care team. Travel locally for home visits and maintain proper documentation of observations and care plans. Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with an RN license and CPR certification, have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, and be able to work a flexible schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate, or Bachelor’s School of Nursing, or vocational nursing
- Current state license as an RN
- Proof of current CPR certification
- Current driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel locally
