Registered Nurse (RN) Recovery Room-PACU-FT

Perform the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, using evidence-based practice to ensure individualized patient care outcomes. Coordinate safe, quality patient care delivery through interdisciplinary rounds, case reviews, and timely documentation while adapting service delivery to reflect cultural diversity and population characteristics. Partner with patients and significant others using bedside shift reports, interdisciplinary rounds, and just-in-time teaching to keep goals central to the plan of care. Complete all initial and ongoing professional competency assessments, required mandatory education, and population-specific training. Serve as a preceptor or mentor for other professional nurses, staff, and students to ensure a qualified workforce. Uphold all health care system policies, clinical competencies, and legal regulatory requirements, including TJC Patient Safety Goals. Participate in data collection, value analysis, and performance improvement activities to evaluate patient care products and address practice questions.
