Job Summary
Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using evidence-based practice while coordinating interdisciplinary rounds and case reviews. Provide relationship-based, culturally diverse care to patients and families, ensuring timely documentation and compliance with Georgia Nurse Practice Act and TJC safety goals. Mentor staff and students, lead performance improvement initiatives, and develop protocols to reduce re-admission rates and adverse events. Complete mandatory education and competency assessments. Requires 5 years direct patient care experience, RN license, and BLS certification. Full-time night shift at Cobb Medical Center.
Required Qualifications
- RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- Minimum 5 years direct patient care nursing experience Required
