Registered Nurse (RN) - Recovery Room (PACU) FT Day

Perform the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation for direct patient care in the recovery room. Coordinate interdisciplinary communication, complete timely documentation, and partner with patients and families to set goals and provide bedside teaching. Uphold clinical practice standards, TJC Patient Safety Goals, and Wellstar organizational policies while participating in performance improvement and shared governance activities. Serve as a preceptor or mentor to ensure a qualified future workforce and model professional nursing practice. Maintain current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications and complete all mandatory and population-specific education requirements.
