Job Summary
Perform the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation for patients in the recovery room using evidence-based practice. Coordinate interdisciplinary communication, complete timely documentation, and partner with patients and families to set care goals. Mentor other nurses and staff, participate in shared governance, and contribute to performance improvement initiatives and protocol development. Uphold all organizational policies, clinical standards, and safety goals. Requires direct patient care nursing experience, an Associate, Diploma, or Bachelor's degree in nursing, and ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications. Full-time day shift at Cobb Hospital.

- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support or ARC-ALS - Amer Red Cross Advanced Life Support or ACLS-I - ACLS - Instructor or ACLS-P - ACLS-Provisional (180 Days) within 180 Days
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- PALS - Pediatric Adv Life Support or ARC-PALS - Amer Red Cross Pediatric Advanced Life Support or PALS-I - PALS - Instructor or PALS-P - PALS-Provisional (180 Days) within 180 Days
- RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
