Job Summary
Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Deliver professional leadership and support to the healthcare team while demonstrating Service Excellence standards at all times. Oversee and guide employees under supervision, ensuring Patient Centered Care principles form the foundation of all nursing activities. Maintain current RN license in Nevada, BLS, ACLS, and relevant specialty certifications. Full-time position within a 336-bed facility recognized as a High Performing Hospital for Heart Failure, Stroke, and Maternity Care.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
- Completion of a Specialty course or equivalent within 6 months of hire
- One-year acute care experience
- Successful completion of an approved specialty course within 6 months of hire
- Current RN license in the State of Nevada
- Current BLS Certification
- Current ACLS Certification (adult patients)
- Current PALS Certification (pediatric patients)
- Current NRP Certification (Neonatal patients)
- Must successfully pass any pre-employment drug screening
