Job Summary
Provide professional nursing care to patients with varied diagnoses while assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care plans. Lead patients through crisis situations and function as a staff RN in the ICU, ED, or designated areas during high acuity events. Assist with admission and discharge processes and paperwork to optimize patient flow. This night shift, full-time role at Lovelace Medical Center supports around-the-clock emergency care, surgical services, and stroke care.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or Diploma of Nursing
- Valid NM Nursing license or NM compact license (within 90 days of hire)
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
- ACLS
- PALS
