Job Summary
Provide professional nursing care to patients with varied diagnoses while assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for those at risk of crisis. Serve as team leader during patient crisis situations and function as a staff RN in the ICU, ED, or designated areas of high acuity. Assist with admission and discharge processes and paperwork to optimize patient flow. This full-time night shift role at Lovelace Medical Center supports acute care, emergency services, and surgical needs.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or Diploma of Nursing
- Valid NM Nursing license or NM compact license (within 90 days of hire)
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
- ACLS
- PALS
