Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) for Radiology Registry coverage with responsibilities spanning radiology procedures (CT, MRI, fluoroscopy, nuclear medicine, breast imaging), pre/post-procedure assessments, IV access, medication administration, sedation monitoring and recovery, rapid patient deterioration identification and escalation, infection prevention, and high-level patient education. Pulls from strong interdisciplinary communication, critical thinking, and safety protocols to support imaging services and anesthesia/sedation recovery when needed; position emphasizes bedside nursing care within a team-oriented Loyola Medicine environment and may include weekend/holiday coverage per registry schedule.
Required Qualifications
- A degree from an accredited school/college of nursing is required - BSN or ADN
- BLS Provider (American Heart Association) required prior to hire
- Illinois Board of Nursing license prior to hire
