Registered Nurse RN Radiation Oncology

Assess and provide nursing interventions for patients and families experiencing disease processes, treatment courses, and follow-up related to cancer. Deliver clinical care, consultation, and education regarding oncology care and radiation therapy while coordinating patient flow in the clinic. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to enhance clinical outcomes, communicate status alterations to the oncologist, and implement ongoing education plans that address language or cultural barriers. Participate in leadership roles as a clinician, educator, consultant, or researcher. Functions independently and interdependently to support patients receiving radiotherapy.
