Job Summary
RN II independently provides direct nursing care to patients and their families in accordance with established policies, procedures, and practices. This role requires MA RN licensure, BLS certification, and preferably a BSN with 1-2 years of telemetry or intermediate care experience. The position is a 36-hour per week, full-time night shift (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) with weekend and holiday commitments. The successful candidate will demonstrate nursing care within a hospital setting, adherence to department-specific certifications, and ongoing professional development toward a BSN.
Required Qualifications
- Massachusetts RN Licensure
- 12 Months - Less than 3 Years of RN Experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Department Specific: Certification(s) relevant to the department and the type of patient care being provided may be required
- BLS required
- ACLS preferred
- BSN is strongly preferred
- Candidates with an Associate’s degree in nursing may be considered, and are encouraged to enroll in a BSN program within 1 year of hire
- A minimum of 1-2 years in telemetry or intermediate care setting is preferred
- Current RN licensure in the state of MA in good standing is required
- Hours: 36 Hours, Full-Time
- Shift: Night Shift 7:00PM-7:00AM (weekend and holiday commitment)
