Job Summary
Perform comprehensive assessments, develop individualized care plans, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues. Coordinate care transitions, promote patient wellness, and contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives while demonstrating ethical, inclusive, and evidence-based nursing practices. Participate in professional development and leadership opportunities within a prestigious network of healthcare professionals. This role offers full-time, part-time, or PRN positions across day, night, and evening shifts at a nationally recognized medical institution in Connecticut. BSN preferred with current RN licensure in Connecticut and BCLS certification required.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure in the state of Connecticut
- BCLS certification (or ability to obtain within 1 month of hire)
- Able to stand/walk for extended periods and lift/move patients
- Comfortable working in clinical settings that involve exposure to illness and end-of-life care
- Capable of managing high-stress, fast-paced environments
Desired Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred)
