Registered Nurse (RN), PT Nights - Oncology (Acute Care)

RN Clinical Nurse - Oncology (PT Nights) provides patient-centered nursing care using the nursing process, collaborates with interdisciplinary team, and conducts evidence-based practice to achieve safe, quality outcomes. Responsibilities include assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation of care; coordination and documentation; maintaining culturally competent care; effective communication with patients and families; participation in performance improvement and staff development as a preceptor. Requires an Associate Degree in nursing (or graduate of an approved nursing program), RN licensure (single state) and multi-state compact; BLS mandatory; 36-hour per pay period night shift at Wellstar facility.
