Job Summary
PT Oncology Acute Care RN provides patient-centered care in a collaborative, interdisciplinary team setting. Responsibilities include performing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation), coordinating care, ensuring safety and quality, and communicating effectively with patients and families. Uses evidence-based practice, adheres to professional practice standards and ethics, participates in staff development and shared governance, and supports preceptorship and performance improvement activities. Requires active RN licensure and BLS; minimum 5 years of direct patient care experience preferred. Located in Marietta, GA; part-time days with weekend option.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Nursing or Diploma in Nursing OR Nursing Bachelor’s (Bachelors preferred)
- RN license (Single State or Compact)
- BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
- RN certification/licensure requirements upon hire unless otherwise stated
- Direct patient care experience (minimum 5 years preferred)
