Job Summary
Conduct direct patient care in an oncology acute care setting by performing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Partner with patients and families to set care goals and provide relationship-based, population-specific support. Coordinate interdisciplinary rounds and documentation while participating in shared governance, performance improvement, and evidence-based practice initiatives. Mentor preceptors and staff to support workforce development. Maintain current certifications in RN licensure and BLS.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred
- RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- Minimum 5 years direct patient care experience
- Completion of accredited/ approved school of nursing with requisition clinical hours
- All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated
