Job Summary
Perform direct patient care in an oncology acute care setting by executing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Coordinate interdisciplinary rounds and documentation to ensure safe, high-quality care while partnering with patients and families to set goals. Mentor staff and students, participate in shared governance activities, and lead performance improvement initiatives to reduce re-admissions and adverse events. Complete mandatory education and competency assessments, and collaborate with care managers to develop clinical protocols.
Required Qualifications
- RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- Minimum 5 years direct patient care experience
- Completion of accredited/ approved school of nursing with requisition clinical hours
- Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing
- All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated
- Part-time Days, Weekend Option Saturday and Sunday (24 hrs per pay period)
