Job Summary
PT Registered Nurse (Oncology, Acute Care) at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital. Responsible for delivering nursing care through the nursing process, providing patient-centered care, coordinating care with interdisciplinary teams, and supporting evidence-based practice. Responsibilities include comprehensive assessment and planning, documentation, participation in interdisciplinary rounds, performance improvement activities, protocol development, mentoring/teaching of staff, and adherence to regulatory and organizational standards. Requires active RN licensure, BLS certification, 5+ years of direct patient care experience, and strong communication and critical-thinking abilities. Day shift; 36 hours per pay period across two 12-hour shifts; acute care oncology setting in Georgia.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred
- RN - Registered Nurse license (Single State) or RN-COMPACT (Multi-state)
- BLS - Basic Life Support or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years RN experience in direct patient care
- Ability to read, write, and speak English; proficient with technology; strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
