Job Summary
Part-time Day shift RN for Oncology/Acute Care at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital. The role focuses on delivering evidence-based, patient-centered nursing care within an interdisciplinary team, coordinating care through effective communication, and maintaining high-quality, safe patient outcomes. Responsibilities include applying the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation), adapting care to diverse populations, engaging patients and families in care plans, supporting performance improvement initiatives, and participating in shared governance. Requires active RN license, BLS, and 5+ years of direct patient care experience; associates/diploma in nursing (bachelor's preferred).
Required Qualifications
- RN license (Georgia or Multi-state Compact)
- BLS certification
- Minimum 5 years RN experience
- Associates Degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing (or Bachelor's in Nursing preferred)
