Job Summary
As a Home Health Registered Nurse (RN), you will perform assessments, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patient care in the home. Your responsibilities include documenting patient care and outcomes, delegating and supervising tasks for Home Health Aides and LPNs, supporting new staff or students, participating in quality initiatives, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team in patient care planning. Pursuing professional development and growth is essential, as well as meeting agency standards with flexibility and commitment. A sign-on bonus of up to $7,500 is available for eligible candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- 2 years full-time experience in acute care
- Current Maryland State nursing license
- 2 years full-time experience in Medical/Surgical or facility nursing within the past 5 years
- Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Valid Driver’s License with agency insurance requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelors in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Additional Requirements
- Current AHC employees not eligible for sign-on bonus
- Employees that have terminated their employment with AHC are not eligible for a sign-on bonus prior to six months of returning if hired for a position offering a sign-on bonus.
