Job Summary
Assess patients and develop individualized nursing care plans for behavioral health conditions. Administer medications, treatments, and therapeutic interventions while monitoring patient status and documenting care in the EMR. Respond to psychiatric crises using de-escalation techniques and implement seclusion or restraint procedures when clinically indicated. Facilitate therapeutic groups, provide patient education on diagnoses and coping strategies, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to promote safety and recovery. Work full-time night shifts (7p-7:30a) in a mission-driven environment focused on compassionate care and clinical excellence.
Required Qualifications
- current and valid State license as a Registered Nurse
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current
- Working knowledge of Mental Health Laws and practice standards
- Working knowledge of interdisciplinary treatment team process, behavioral health programming and daily nursing functions for inpatient and outpatient behavioral health units
- Working knowledge of the continuum of care for behavioral health care
