Registered Nurse RN - Psych Unit

Assess patients and develop individualized nursing care plans for behavioral health conditions. Administer medications, treatments, and therapeutic interventions while monitoring patient status and documenting care in the EMR. Respond to psychiatric crises using de-escalation techniques, facilitate therapeutic groups, and educate patients on diagnoses and coping strategies. Implement seclusion and restraint procedures when clinically indicated and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to promote patient safety and recovery. Provide compassionate, evidence-based care to males on the Adult Intensive Unit during 3-12 hour night shifts (7p-7:30a) at Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital.
