Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive, direct care for acute cardiac patients, including those with invasive line management and post-procedure needs. Perform patient assessments, initiate nursing interventions, and deliver appropriate therapies for adult and geriatric populations. Execute timely documentation, revise interdisciplinary care plans, and lead continuous quality improvement assessments. Work 12-hour shifts with day and night rotation options within a 42-bed Progressive Care unit.
Required Qualifications
- current state RN license
- associate's or bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school
- Basic Life Support certification
- ACLS Certification
Desired Qualifications
- One-year acute cardiovascular care experience
- other comparable nursing experience
- ASLS certification
