Job Summary
Conduct patient assessments, identify needs, and initiate appropriate nursing interventions for respiratory failure and cardiac conditions in a 12-bed Progressive Care Unit. Provide care tailored to patient condition and age, perform timely documentation, and complete the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient. Execute quality improvement assessments while maintaining a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio. Requires current North Carolina or compact state RN license, AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. One year of experience preferred. Night shift (7p-7a) with 3x12 schedule, holidays, and weekends required.
Required Qualifications
- current North Carolina or compact state Registered Nurse license
- associate's degree from an accredited nursing school
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support certification
- AHA ACLS certification
- AHA PALS certification
- ability to work in a stressful environment

- ability to work with minimal supervision
