Job Summary
Collaborate with attending physicians to provide patient care, record progress notes, and administer treatments and medications including IVs. Oversee licensed vocational nurses and certified nursing assistants in performing procedures per physician orders while reviewing nursing notes for accuracy and alignment with resident wishes. Lead nursing staff and guide care services in accordance with laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure a safe, professional environment. Evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions and co-create plans of care with the leadership team.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN License valid in the same state as the facility
- Supervisory background in SNF setting
- Excellent observation, verbal and written communication, problem solving, basic math skills; nursing skills per competency checklist
- Outstanding communication (oral and written) skills
- Ability to lead by example – maintaining a kind, patient and professional demeanor in all work-related situations
