Job Summary
Deliver, direct, and supervise patient care to admitted patients on the nursing unit under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer, Nurse Manager, or Charge Nurse. Plan, coordinate, and provide interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, and patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization while accessing community resources. Utilize the nursing process to ensure comprehensive care delivery. Requires current RN licensure, BLS, and ACLS certifications (with ACLS required within 90 days for Charge Nurses). One year of inpatient medical-surgical experience preferred. Flexible scheduling available for this PRN night role at a Tulsa LTACH facility.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates
- Current BLS certification
- Evidence of ACLS certification within 90 days of employment
- BLS and ACLS certifications must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment
- Current ACLS certification for Charge Nurses
Desired Qualifications
- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience
