Job Summary
Deliver, direct, and supervise care to patients admitted to the nursing unit under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer, Nurse Manager, or Charge Nurse. Plan, coordinate, and provide patient care including interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources. Perform Charge Nurse duties as assigned, which requires ACLS certification. Maintain current RN licensure in the state of employment and hold current BLS certification, with ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment. This PRN night role offers flexible scheduling and opportunities for professional growth through the Education Advancement Program within PAM Health's network of specialty healthcare locations.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates
- Current BLS certification
- AHA approved BLS certification
- AHA approved ACLS certification
- ACLS certification within 90 days of employment
Desired Qualifications
- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience
