Registered Nurse (RN) PRN

Coordinate nursing care for residents by assessing conditions, implementing physician orders, administering medications, and documenting treatments. Supervise and direct LPNs, LVNs, and CNAs while initiating team conferences to develop individualized care plans. Assign nursing tasks based on resident needs and staff capabilities, ensuring supplies are utilized economically and equipment is maintained safely. Report pertinent observations, participate in orientation and in-service training, and assist physicians with special procedures within the scope of the Nursing Practice Act. Interview applicants and recommend hires while counseling staff on disciplinary actions where permitted.
