Job Summary
Deliver, direct, and supervise patient care to admitted individuals on the nursing unit by utilizing the nursing process. Plan and coordinate interdisciplinary care, including discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources. Provide 6 to 8 shift availability per month, which includes one full weekend, two major, and one minor holiday. Maintain current licensure, BLS certification, and crisis management certification per hospital policy.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state where the hospital resides
- Current BLS certification
- Crisis management certification per hospital policy and standards
- Tier 2: provide 6 shift availability per month
- Tier 3: Provide 8 shift availability per month
- Both tiers are to include -1 full weekend per month
- Both tiers are to include 2 major holiday
- Both tiers are to include 1 minor holiday
Desired Qualifications
- One year of inpatient behavioral health nursing experience
